Looking towards new opportunities…
Currently a part of Australia’s national broadcaster, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, working as part of the Commercial Department, coordinating ingestion of deliverables, transcoding all kinds of content and ensuring it’s all prepared and delivered to take some of Aunty’s best content to eyeballs around the world.
Previously, I’ve worked as a Content Operations Executive using Scheduling and Content Management Systems to bring countless hours of content to customers through Stan and Stan Sport, including leading a team to bring thousands of games from the Rugby Australia archive to a content-starved fan base.
Prior to that, I worked at DDB Sydney as their in-house Video Editor, and a key part of major campaigns for world-famous clients such as McDonald’s, and Volkswagen, as well as high-value clients such as Foxtel and Westpac. From hype reels, pitch videos, case studies through to the final products seen by millions of Australians, cutting my teeth here was invaluable.
On top of this, there’s been work as an editor, director, writer and producer of my own and other’s short films. There’s been editing and producing work on behalf of E! and PRIME7, and on campaigns as large as the Olympic Games. There’s been a Masters of Media Production at the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Communications at the University of Wollongong. There’s been a bit.
The goal is audience and client satisfaction through collaboration. No creator is an island, and that synthesis of ideas created by the input of teams made up of people who are talented and nice is key in the creation of anything with staying power.
